Developed a short while after the Second World War, Mangas became immensely popular in Japan. These comprise Japanese language comics and cartoons and have a history that dates back to ancient Japanese art. The form of Mangas coming from World War II is the modern form of the comic. It covers a wide range of subjects such as commerce, games, business, sports, sexuality, fantasy, comedy, horror, historical drama, mystery, adventure, romance and science fiction along with many others. In Japan, Mangas are popular amongst people of al ages and everyone from kids to adults, love to read them. Initially designed as an entertaining read, Mangas have now become an important part of the publishing industry in Japan and earns it billions of Yen each year.

Although typically printed black and white, colored Mangas also exist with ‘Colorful' being a popular kind of such Mangas. This art is now gaining popularity all over the world and is becoming a good way to earn money for many industries and economies. Together, the Manga industries in USA and Canada have earned millions of dollars. Mangas are usually published with only one story in it that is continued in the best issue of the same Manga. However, way from this trend, all Mangas combating one single story are reprinted and this thicket of many Mangas is known as ‘tankobon'. One piece Mangas are also quite popular since they are easy to handle yet equally as effective and entertaining to read as any other version of Mangas. This Japanese art has also paved way for and inspired various other art works such as animations. Surprisingly, the Japanese do not recognize this compilation as Manga but this term is rather used outside Japan to represent the publishing inside the country.
